An Attractive Mid 18th Century George III English Mahogany Wing Chair.
The curvy shaped back designed to protect the person sitting in it from the cold in a draughty 18th century house, this piece has a lovely sculptural look to it. The base consisting of square sectioned legs joined by an H stretcher in mahogany of excellent colour.
We have fully rebuilt this chair from the frame using hessian and hessian fabric, giving it an organic look. It can be re-upholstered but we like it as it is!
