Large 18th Century French Cherrywood Sideboard

A Large Scale 18th Century French Cherrywood Side Cabinet or Sideboard.
This grandly proportioned piece is a particularly large scale example of a side cabinet or sideboard cupboard made in France at the end of the 18th century. Constructed in cherrywood, the piece has attained a golden colour with age. The two planked top sits upon a moulded frieze and above a series of four panelled doors, split in to two pairs. Between the doors there are four small drawers, with brass pull handles. Behind the doors are two cupboard spaces with two shelves. Standing on short square sectioned feet.
The timber throughout is of excellent quality with nice variations in colour. A lovely and unusual cabinet of particularly large and useful size, working in traditional and contemporary interiors equally well.
