A 19th Century French Elm Occasional Tilt Top Table of Small Size and Fine Colour.
This lovely table is a fine example of a tilt top occasional table produced in the French provinces in the 19th century. The planked top is of made up of figured pieces of timber which have acquired an excellent colour and fine patination.
The trestle base with side supports and rotating support is sturdy and well made and allows the table to be placed against a wall when not in use. An attractive piece of French country furniture.
