An Interesting mid 20th Century Limed Oak Cabinet, Possibly Spanish, c.1940.
Constructed throughout in solid oak of superb quality, this is a very interesting and decorative piece of furniture. The fully panelled front and sides reminiscent of 17th century pieces and the combination of multiple mouldings is a clear demonstration of the skill of the cabinetmaker. The interior of the piece features adjustable shelves and three drawers, with a further drawer in the lower frieze which is well disguised and has its own lock. The grain filled with liming paste for an attractive and contemporary look. A practical piece of storage furniture with a very distinctive style.
