18th Century French Louis XV Period Walnut Commode

An attractive, 18th Century solid walnut commode of the Louis XV period. Having moulded top, and curved sides, with a slight serpentine front. Two drawers with elaborate handles within panels of hand-carved decoration. At the centre is an elaborate pierced foliate carved apron. Carved detail on sides below shaped, fielded panels. Stands on four cabriole legs with carved detail and scroll feet.
A beautiful commode made in Nimes France, with wonderful rich colour.
