18th Century Italian walnut coffer of generous size. Having three planks for the top and carved moulding under the lid with iron hinges. Inside is lined with old paper. The front panel is plain and flanked by large grooved panels. Panelled sides and standing on long stile feet with carved brackets.
Retaining its wonderful rich colour and patination.
