Large 1930s French Bureau Plat

A large 1930s French bureau plat constructed in oak, cherry and walnut with a wonderful, decorative use of veneers, mouldings and cross banding. The top is inset with tooled leather in black with a border of greek key pattern. Having three drawers across the front with pretty brass escutcheons and a key. The side panels imitate the front ones in design. Supported by tapering legs with brass ormolu capitals and brass feet.
Finished all round to be freestanding if desired.
