19th Century Late Regency Rosewood Tilt Top Table (Attributed to Gillows)

A Fine Late Regency or William IV Rosewood Tilt Top Centre Table Attributed to Gillows.
This fine table is veneered throughout in rosewood of good colour and figure. The top has acquired a beautiful faded golden colour. The table base is a simple tripartite design with three knurled, reeded feet. The base supports a tapering column, with a variety of mouldings at the base. The frieze to the top incorporates a half round, bead-type moulding and both this and the reeded feet are typical of the work of Gillows.
A lovely and practical table.
