A Mid Century French Pine Table with Unusual Wooden Branch Stretcher c.1940.
The table supported on two X-shaped end supports, held together with a tree branch used as a central stretcher and pegged in place at both ends. The three planked top of good light colour.
This unusual and charming piece of furniture has a rustic look and long, narrow proportions. A piece of 20th century country furniture with plenty of decorative appeal.
