Early 19th Century French Walnut and Satinwood Console Table

An unusual model of an early 19th Century French walnut and satinwood console table having a nice original grey and white veined marble top conforming to the interesting concave sides of the table. The deep frieze has ebony inlayed drawers and panels, one long drawer to the front and two small drawers towards the back on the sides, all flanked by stop fluted panels and a moulded edge below. Standing on four turned, fluted legs with two extra square legs at the back having fluted decoration, all adjoining a lower tier or shelf.
This well made table sits very well, with the extra legs at the back, against a wall.
