19th Century Italian Walnut and Ivory Table (with APHA Certificate)

A stunning, 19th Century Italian walnut table with ivory inlay. The top having inlaid borders of geometric designs that continue onto the edges. Raised upon curvilinear legs and an unusual shaped H-stretcher which are also embellished with ivory inlay.
The table has been examined independently and by APHA. It is found to fit perfectly into the category of the Carthusian style of furniture during its revival in the 19th Century. It is of particular value and rarity due to its high quality construction and thickness of the veneers. Dating from 1840 to 1870 of north Italian manufacture.
