Large 19th Century English Oak Hall Bench
A Large 19th Century English Oak Hall Bench.
The bench is of large scale and would have been designed for a large country or town house entrance hall. Having barley twist legs and bun feet which are unusual on a hall bench. It has carved arm rests and a moulded edge and survives in excellent condition. The seat is made of two planks of oak. The carpentry throughout is of very good quality.
