18th Century English Oak Settle
18th Century English oak settle with a high back. Unusual format of five fielded panels at the back mirrored on the font panel, and having open arms.
Settles were generally placed by the large open fireplaces in country houses and inns. Usually characterful pieces as they got heavy use, so they can have the most amazing charm about them.
Nice colour and design.
H 109cm x W 178cm x D 51cm
H 43” x W 70¼” x 20¼”
Seat Height: 45cm
Seat Depth: 34cm
