An imposing, and exceptional quality 18th century French mahogany commode with its original white Carrara marble top and pierced brass gallery. Having three drawers across the top with two further long drawers, with brass stringing and drop bar brass handles, flanked by fluted brass columns. The round fluted corners also have inset brass detail. Panelled sides, also with brass mouldings. Terminating on tapering legs with brass mounts and shoes.
A lovely, quality example with a wonderful colour.
