Early 18th Century Louis XV Two Drawer Commode
An exceptional early 18th Century Louis XV commode from the town of Nîmes in the Provence region of Southern France.
Made from solid walnut with fine hand carvings. Thick apron pierced with beautiful serpentine front carvings with curved legs ending in scroll toes. Two dovetail drawers with original bronze. A wonderful example of this type of commode.
