Impressive and very heavy, grand scale 19th Century Syrian dowry wedding chest resting upon elevated carved and inlaid panels. Beautifully inlaid with mother of pearl and lead wire. A truly stunning example of exceptional quality. The lid top removes to reveal a single large compartment and a small box with a hinged lid.
